Throughout the day I have had them all out taking pictures. Tapestry is still very nervous and scuttles around in the cage before she will allow herself to be picked up. Tinkerbelle and Bella are becoming less nervous and will allow us to catch them straight away. Tonight I had Bella out for a cuddle and as I was stroking her back she was purring. I am very pleased that they are all coming gradually. All have had a good brushing every day this week.

This little piggie is now 3 years old. We went up to see our friend yesterday who owns her and she is one of the babies we bred in 2006 when Marble was put with Socks. Now both those are gone and this one's two sisters, this is Molly who is the only sow left. Diane Reason for Editing: Fixed missing codes

Hi again everyone. After the above pics were taken earlier this year we took Tapestry, Tinkerbelle and Bella to their first show on March 21st. Tapestry was second in class 206 A/A New/Emerging RV Challenge and there was an entry of 4 and she was also 2nd in Class 203 New Emerging Adult RV out of an entry of 3 Both classes were judged by Diane Nunn. Tinkerbelle was in class 205 New Emerging U/5 Rare variety also judged by Diane Nunn as the only entry so she was placed as 1st. Bella was in class 85 Merino U/5 and judged by Stuart Inch and she was the only entry so was placed 1st. Queenie was 1st in class 298 Lonjghair Adult Sow and judged by Jennie Wright.
That was 4 months ago and Bella and Tinkerbelle are now 7 months old. Bella's coat is still growing and we didn't take Narnia as her coat had been chewed. To bring you all up to date we took 4 piggies to the July show last Saturday (4th) and won 6 prizes AND a trophy! It still hasn't sunk in as we had never won anything like that before.
Brandy won his class 282 Smooth Adult Boar. There were 6 entries and judged by Caroline Creese, Queenie again won her class also judged by Caroline and Andante was third in her breed class 203 Adult New Emerging Breed and 3rd in the New Emerging Grand Challenge but the winner was none other than our Narnia who triumphed by winning Class 203 New Emerging Adult Rare Variety and judged by Helen McCormick out of an entry of 5 and was awarded a large rosette with Best New Emerging Breed written down the tail of it made with yellow, pink, green and purple ribbons and the biggest surprise was she went on to win class 206 New Emerging Grand Challenge out of an entry of 6 giving us the wonderful trophy! What an achievement!
All in all we had a fab show and our next one is September
