Just to share a little story of my cheeky girls Cheesecake and Reef. I was cleaning them out yesterday when I noticed an animal the other side of the fence. I thought it was my rabbit, she has escaped down the garden form the patio a few time, but it was Cheesecake, I looked down and both pigs had escaped from the pen they were in.
I was thankfull they were my tamest pigs, so catching them was very easy, they let me pick them up. I put them back into the pen, believing it to be a fluke that they escaped. 10 minutes later they are trying to get back into the patio, so i had to catch them again. Again i am really thankful they were tame and not my shy girls.
This time though I knew the cheeky little explorers had learnt how to get out of their pen, so into a box they went, and I fast tracked their hutch (i was cleaning them out) so i could put them away. The join had come apart on the pen, but it is fixable, but my cheeky girls were good escape artists, bless them.
Sorry thought I'd share.

its great Tanya I remember a few years ago we put our girlies in there run not noticing a bit of uneven ground, when we went to get them there was no pigs in a panic we screamed there names only to see piggies rushing towards us some coming under next doors fence and from all corners of the garden, we jist picked them up thank god, don't no who got the biggest shock us at seeing them gone or them seeing there mums screaming and running around in a blind panic. I'm afraid this story is part of our forelore and readily gets told to anyone who will listen.
